It is with deep regret that I inform the class of the death of Lt.(jg) CHARLES F. MARRON in an aircraft accident on 9 January 1962 while on duty in the Philippine Islands. He was piloting an AD-5Q aircraft from VAW-13 and had just taken off on a cross-country movement of the squadron to Japan. His three crew members were also lost. Charlie was a member of the 2nd Company. He is survived by his parents… and a sister.

He is buried in Montana.
