Lucky Bag

From the 1926 Lucky Bag:

Loss

Unable to find much information on Paul's life or loss. His headstone and other available records indicate he was lost at sea on August 16, 1942 in or near Alaska. He was commanding officer of USS Dent (DD–116) in July; presumably he was still in command at the time of his loss. Dent was operating out of Dutch Harbor on convoy and patrol duties.

His wife was listed as next of kin. He has a memory marker in Arlington National Cemetery.
