Lucky Bag

From the 1957 Lucky Bag:

From the April 1959 issue of Shipmate:

I have just learned of the death of William K. Weaver, our beloved classmate. Bill was stationed at Jacksonville Naval Air Station in Florida. His AD6 Skyraider crashed on a bank of the St. John's River on Wednesday, 11 February 1959. Those of us who knew Bill can realize what a tremendous loss his death must have been to his widow, Jerry, and his eight-month-old son, William, Jr.

He is buried in Florida with his wife.

Unable to determine which squadron he was a member of; the aircraft he was piloting (Bu. No. 134481) belonged to a Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 331.
